I use cross game chat 90% of the time that I use my mic. I only really talk to friends, or people I am playing well with... It saves a lot of grief from hearing the teens and tweens. I have it set so that people outside of my party chat still come out audibly from the TV - so I know what's going on, it's just not 1 inch from my brain.

I pre-order sometimes, as I work full time and don't have chance to go shopping outside of the weekends - Also I like getting them posted to my work address as it makes all the other designers who are equally as nerdy jealous :D

Burnout 3 and Conkers Bad Fur day were excellent Alternatives to Halo 2 back then.
I smash about 10 hours a week on Fifa, when you start training your Pro you get sucked in... Then you can't help to get your nerd on instead of sleeping.
As an owner of a PS3 I only like 2 of the games on that list, Demon's Souls and Uncharted 2. All the other games just aren't my kind of thing. I imagine a few 360 owners would feel similar.

Actually it has a shit ton of games to play. It may have not released any for a while... but there is a fair old back catalogue of things to play to someone who has just bought the console. Herp-er-derp!
